Vogel Plant Biosciences Building
Named after pioneering scientist Orville A. Vogel, this building is a state-of-the-art home for researchers from several departments of the University, all focusing on plant science. The plant transformation core laboratory of the Center for Integrated Biotechnology is located here, along with scientists from four departments in the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences and a number of USDA-ARS scientists.
Interconnected research laboratories on the top three floors incorporate shared- and common-use equipment areas that encourage collaboration. Informal meeting spaces help people to get together to exchange ideas.
Public space on the ground floor includes four high-tech teaching laboratories. A preparation lab that provides additional flexibility for instruction and conducting experimental procedures supports each teaching laboratory.
